A contemporary house with Indian flavors. All the rooms of this house are organized around a courtyard and are planned in a way that they stay connected to the exterior gardens. The courtyard is also connected to the garden. The form of the stone jali which makes the house’s façade is inspired by flora. The large garden area which lies behind the lattice-work reveals itself as one enters the natural stone and wood pavilion. The materials and the colours used in the interiors are all Indian, bringing a sense of warmth while enhancing the Indian art pieces such as paintings, sculptures, pichwais, etc. that are collected by the family.
