This mansion reinterprets the Indian traditional arts and crafts in a way that makes it a contemporary Indian home, with a hint of Colonial flavors. Custom-designed & hand-crafted wooden furniture pieces have been created using fine techniques like marquetry & inlay work, along with expressive use of metals in certain furniture pieces. A large fabric hangs at the stair-well which enhances the space while depicting day and night on its either side using the traditional craft of Mata ni Pachedi. The terrace flooring uses mosaic craft to create a vivacious graphical representation of natural world. This graphic has been developed using a specially worked-out geometric grid and tessellated forms.
