Touch of Craft

Shaubigi is a collection of one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, which was organized in Mumbai in 1998 with the idea of using local woods to express the best local craft techniques of its time. Each piece of furniture is finely detailed out using different woods like Burma teak, White Cedar, Padauk, Haldu and Rosewood. It is characterized by substantial use of traditional wood-crafts like marquetry, inlay-work, carving, etc., wood-working details, appropriate hardware and natural finishes that enhance the wooden furniture.
